In my own words...
For twelve amazing days, I was a very humble guest of Neutron, Bexie and Family.
The time preparing for the trip seemed to take forever, then all too soon, it was time to go home
From my two hour departure delay, to almost missing the plane home entirely;
my visit, in a nutshell, was nothing short of magical.
I'll never forget walking down the arrival passageway at Heathrow.
Not only was it my first International trip ever,
I was also by myself and at the World's largest Airport.
Almost immediately I spotted Neut and it was a moment I'll never forget.
So many emotions surged through me.
I stared intently at him and after several attempts on my behalf,
I finally got his attention.
I knew him straight off, he, well *grins* claims he was in disbelief,
that I was actually there in person,
but truth be known, he didn't know me *laughing*.
Guess I'll always be one up there, but in true male form,
he denies this was his fault
I was eventually greeted with flowers and loads of hugs.
Funny thing is though *grin* when we went to pick up Bexie from the Airport,
he made us late to collect her.
Poor Bex, such a long flight only to be kept waiting.
But you know how fragile the male ego is.
I had the trip of a lifetime.
I was spoiled, pampered and very loved.
I never went short on treats *smile* and I was even introduced to an amazing drink...
A Mule
I will definately have to go back, if only for just those !
I did things I would never have considered before.
I pulled "bats" to help signal trains, was kept up all night talking,
made to walk over everywhere for hours on end, *grin*
taken to many different... paths *laughing*.
I even ventured out to the clubs and did the dancing thing.
I must admit, I had a ball there *laughing*.
And... visiting Rabbit Foot's house afterwards was a treat.
I loved !!!! sitting in his chair *grin*.
I got terribly sunburned, and swallowed my fear of heights
to not only go up a 580ft tower, but to also ride the worlds tallest roller coaster.
Still don't know what I was thinking,
but I had more balls that day than poor Neut,
who begrudgingly came on the ride with me.
I visited London and enjoyed myself immensely.
I was treated to a special Italian dinner there as well,
but unfortunately, they had no Caesar Salad.
one day Neut, I will return the favour and I'll treat you to the best BEST SALAD ever.
I was even made to stand in a downpour on Tower Bridge for some pictures...
Immmmmmmaaaaaaaaagine!<
I did discover just how stubborn Mr. NeutroN can be however. *grins*
All I have to say is next time Bex & I want a kebab, suffer !! *grin*
I was accepted into their family openly and whole heartedly.
I can never begin to thank you all for my trip of a lifetime.
It was so magical and it will never be forgotten.
I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.
Oh Yeah ! And... It can be done...
NeutroN can be made to dance. *grins*
So, my first trip to England has come and gone and all I have left to say is this:
a) When can I come back ? *smiles and
b) most importantly ; *ahem* "f'coff !!! ...please ... boogie.
Love you all..
