Hi there, This is me, NeutroN, and my 11 year old daughter Carly.
The two pics above were taken in Majorca in September 1996.
My real name is John but I think by now that most of you know that :o).
You may also see me using the name Yeller from time to time.
That's a very special name given to me by a very special lady :o)
I was born in a town called Portsmouth
which is in the county of Hampshire, England.
Portsmouth was a big naval town years ago but I think a lot of that has gone now.
My father worked in the Dockyard there but sadly,
he died when I was two so sadly, I never knew him.
I have two sisters, Angela and Christine,
they are both older than me, I was definately the baby :o)
Angela now lives in Portsmouth once again,
at least one of us finally went home.
Christine lives in Gloucester which is in the South West of England.
I lived in Portsmouth until I was around 4, then I moved to Brighton.
I still like to visit Brighton as often as I can, I just love the place.
I was around 9 when I moved 'up North'
finally settling in the Manchester area when I was 11
I now live in a town called Whitefield which is just north of Manchester.
I used to work for Railtrack as a Signalman,
I worked for the railway company since June 1975.
That lasted until the 30th May 1998.
On that day, I officially became an Ex Employee.
I was finally given the redundancy payoff I'd been waiting for.
Sadly, all the places I worked for all those years will soon be gone.
I had some great times working for the railway.
I met some great friends there too.
So, what are my plans now ?
Well, I finally met a very special friend not too long ago.
I hugged Miss Mona for the first time on the 14th June *huge smiles*
Check her pages to see pics of us together on her visit.
There's even a picture of our very first hug :o)
Me guarding Irish Coffee & Ice Cream from Mona.
(She stole my chocolate ice cream *pout*)
So, what of the future... hmmmm....
Well, my future is beginning to take shape.
I really feel I know what's in store for me now.
Whatever happens, one thing's for sure, my smile still stays on :o)
Things A Neut Likes To Do...
Well, I think I would have to say that my main love is music.
I have quite a varied taste but my all time favourites have to be Queen.
They are closely followed by the Beatles though.
My current favourites are Radiohead and The Manic Street Preachers.
Don't ask
me to chose between them though...
I also like Oasis
(well, I did live in Manchester)
I love going to concerts,
It was good living in Manchester because they get most of the big acts playing there.
The most recent show's I've seen have been The Monkees, Aerosmith,
The Who, The Manic Street Preachers and Radiohead.
The next concert for me will be Alanis Morrisette
when she commences her tour in Halifax, N.S.
I also enjoy good nightlife, loud crowded pubs and clubs etc...
The Red King in Whitefield is my current favourite.
Prior to that, it was every Friday in the Masons
(You can find pics of these pubs in my Photo Album)
I simply love to travel too, I've been abroad many times.
I've visited in the past America, Belgium (twice), Denmark, France, Germany, Holland
and Spain four times (The Islands of Ibiza & Mallorca)
On the 3rd September, I finally got out to Canada *smiling widely*
I'm spent three amazing weeks with Mona and her wonderful family.
They all made me feel so incredibly welcome,
words alone cannot convey the gratitude I have for them all.
I want to thank J, D, M, but most of all, DL for everything...
You have no idea how happy you all have made me...
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart...

That's me and DL (aka Mona) hugging in Lunenberg, NS.
Right now, I'm back in Canada, so, as you see,
everythings going pretty good for Neut :o)

Neut's Hobbies
My hobbies also include Photography, both still and video.
I've had a few photographs published in magazines,
I think I'm an OK photographer really.
I also love playing about with Computer graphics, especially 3 D rendering.
Well, I do have an Amiga, what do you expect...
I'll include a sample of my artwork soon,
I've had some of it published on an Amiga Format CD too :o)
Sadly... I doubt any of you have heard of Amiga computer's
let alone Amiga Format magazine...
heavysigh...
Another one of my loves is Movies... Both Cinema's and Home Cinema.
I'm very keen on Laser Disc and I have recently aquired AC3.
Perhaps one day, I'll treat myself to DVD,
from what I've heard, it is the future of Home Cinema.
I'll never desert Laser Disc though...
Some of Neut's Favourite movies...
Top of the list is Highlander.
Not just because the soundtrack is by Queen
It is simply a magnificent movie... I've yet to hear of anyone disliking it.
Without doubt, the film's A Kind Of Magic :o)
Forest Gump is another of my top favourites.
It's just so unlikely, but so believeable, sort of...
I simply love it.
I must mention Dumb & Dumber too.
I like it a lot :o)
I like all sorts of films, from Comedies to drama's and evem sloppy ones...
I just love Movies!!!
Oh, there is one thing I haven't mentioned...
My sense of humour...
I am frequently told that I am sick *grins*
John Cleese once said it's not funny if a lady falls downstairs...
But if she's a very old lady... *sick grin*
I recently introduced some typical British comedy to Mona...
Bottom and Shooting Stars to name just two examples.
At first, I don't think she was sure...
But in the end.. she was laughing...
But... well... Monty Python... Hmmmmm...
I don't think she understood it at all *chuckling to myself*
Some thing's Neut dislikes...
Hmmm... What can I put at the top of this list...
Without a doubt, it has to be Vanilla Ice,
if anyone remembers this piece of crap!!!
To blatently rip off music is bad enough,
but to do it to Queen. hmph !!! hmph...
People that complain about their under-age relatives
being spoken to in a suggestive manner in adult chat rooms.
If they don't want them spoken to like that...
KEEP THEM OUT !!!
They aren't welcome in such rooms anyway !
Windows 95 and even worse... 98 !!!!.
What more can I say....
I had so much trouble with it in the not too distant past,
but now everything's running... I'm leaving it alone!!!
If only it wouldn't slow down to a crawl when multi-tasking... sigh...
Another thing that annoys me are websites which tell you what browser to use.
Why should I be told that this page looks better using Microscape at 600x800.
HTML was written as a universal language and should be used as such.
I think it's important that the pages should look good on any browser.
I can't use Explorer or Navigator on my Amiga, not that I want to,
but I like to know that these browsers display my pages OK.
I certainly don't need anyone telling me to download the latest version.
If I started telling you this page was best viewed using IBrowse V1.22
and went on including a link for you to download it, I'd be wasting your time.
THIS PAGE LOOKS BEST ON A WEB BROWSER.
Need I say more :o)
I'm sure this list is gonna grow and grow *smiling sweetly*.
So, there you have it.
You now know the Neut.
If you ever see me in a chat room say hello, and tell me you've been here.
You could even drop me a line to say hello.
Just click on the icon below :o)
Oh... I almost forgot...
Please Please Please don't forget to sign the guestbook. Thanks :o)
Well, I give you a huge thankyou for visiting and please call again...
Best wishes... John (Neut)
I close this page with a quote borrowed from Freddie Mercury...
This page is dedicated to cat lovers everywhere...
Screw everyone else *smiles*.
I've had
